Dyke Road has a sense of belonging and family like atmosphere. The people living here are a close knit community where every individual is valued, encouraged and supported to live life in a way that is meaningful to them. It has a warm, welcoming and therapeutic environment for young adults with complex needs, where independence, choice and personal growth are at the heart of everything. Each person’s individuality is celebrated, taking the time to understand their interests, aspirations and strengths, and tailoring support to help them achieve their goals.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
This is a homely bungalow with five spacious ground-floor bedrooms, all with fully adapted ceiling tracking in the bedrooms and shared bathroom. The home benefits from additional communal space for socialising, including a large living room, kitchen, dining room and conservatory. There’s also a garden area with an accessible swing for people to enjoy.
The team supports people with building independence skills, identifying and maintaining education placements and taking part in leisure activities.
The team involve those they support in developing person-centred plans focused on outcomes in a homely and welcoming environment. The team are highly experienced and are available 24 hours a day, including for waking night when agreed.
