Forensic Support
Understanding risk. Supporting lives. Building safer futures.
At Achieve together, we offer specialist forensic support for people who draw on social care who may be at risk of offending or reoffending. This could be people with learning disabilities, autistic people, people with mental health conditions or an acquired brain injury.
We use the Good Lives Model, a strengths based approach to help people build positive, meaningful futures – focused on protective factors, healthy relationships and practical life/coping skills.
Behind every risk is a story – and a person who matters
People we support with a forensic risk can come into contact with the criminal justice system due to behaviours linked to:
- Anti-social behaviour
- Sexual or violent offending
- Fire-setting
- Exploitation or radicalisation
These behaviours are often rooted in trauma, unmet needs, or poor support in the past. Our approach is not to punish – but to understand, support and protect everyone involved.
We use the Good Lives Model to support people to thrive – not just survive
Our forensic support is built around the Good Lives Model, which focuses on helping people lead fulfilling, pro-social lives – reducing the risk of reoffending by increasing quality of life.
Key areas include:
- Protective factors and life skills
- Positive relationships and meaningful roles
- Psychological therapy
- Community inclusion
- Person-centred support and planning
We don’t define people by their past. We support them to build a better future.
