Thoughtfully designed for independent living

Whitehatch has a warm, homely feel, with a welcoming team who help people feel comfortable, included and able to enjoy everyday life in a way that suits them. Activities are shaped around each person’s interests, from bingo to football matches, pub lunches and cinema trips.

The spacious, accessible home has ten ensuite bedrooms and a self-contained flat, offering more independence with 24-hour support nearby. Shared spaces include a large lounge, dining room, kitchen, accessible bathroom and garden with a newly rebuilt summer house. The team support people with varied needs, including mobility needs, diabetes and epilepsy.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place

Whitehatch is a spacious and welcoming home with ten ensuite bedrooms, as well as a self-contained flat with its own bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. The flat is ideal for someone who would like greater independence while having 24-hour support nearby.

The home also has a shared lounge, dining room, kitchen, laundry area and accessible bathroom, along with lift facilities for those who need them. Outside, there is a garden with a newly rebuilt summer house where the people we support can relax and spend time together.

Whitehatch is in a great location, close to main roads and public transport, while still being set back from daily noise. Regular buses run to Crawley, Redhill and Gatwick Airport, with larger shops, cinemas, bowling and travel links nearby. Horley town centre is around a 15-minute walk away, with cafés, takeaways, pubs, barbers, hairdressers and useful shops including Savers and Waitrose.

The people we support enjoy weekly visits to the local community centre for a meal and bingo, while Brighton, London and Gatwick Lakes offer more options for fun days out. Gatwick Lakes is only a 10-minute walk away and has accessible paths, riverside views and plenty of wildlife to enjoy.
