About this home

Fengates Road is a residential home for adults with Autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs. People are supported to develop person-centred plans that enable them to exercise and increase choice, control and independence in their lives.

The well trained team work closely with the local community to ensure that people have access to key services and appointments. As an experienced team they work in partnership with families, Carers and professionals to ensure support is appropriate and proactive. They regularly update their training to meet the needs of people supported.

What we offer

Fengates Road is a detached property with six large bedrooms over two floors, so people have their own space when needed. Each person is supported to decorate and personalise their rooms. There is plenty of communal space to socialise, including a lounge, dining room and kitchen facilities.

The home is on a public transport route to Redhill town centre, where there are many local shops, cafes and pubs. Within a short walk there are also a few local shops.

Additionally, there are colleges and supported employment opportunities, available locally.

Lifestyle

At Fengates Road, people collaborate on their activity calendar, which includes a range of different activities, both in the home and in the local area; such as local social groups and activities, trampolining, pottery, cookery and baking.

Team members encourage people with developing daily life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and also engage people in social games and exercise.

The home also hosts events throughout the year, such as the Halloween party.

The home environment is a very busy, vibrant place, which can become very noisy on occasions, with the laughter and chat between people we support and team.

Most of the time people we support socialise together in activities in and outdoors, however some choose to take themselves to a quieter place of choice, when things are a bit too noisy or busy for their liking.
