More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this support setting
Thoughtfully designed for independent living
Twyford Gardens is a specialist residential service for adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).
The home is a small and intimate service with a real homely sense. Located at the end of a cul-de sac, it’s a quiet and peaceful home where the people we support are in full control of their day to days lives, choosing what they would like to do and where they would like to go.
Currently we are looking to welcome new individuals to the home to build a new family, activity programme and make Twyford Gardens a special place in which memories can be made and new friendships formed.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
Twyford Gardens is a large property with four en-suite bedrooms. There is a communal living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and a garden for when people want to socialise with others.
The home is fully wheelchair accessible, with all rooms on the ground floor and includes ramped access to the good sized garden, a highlight of the home.
We follow an active, person-centred approach which supports individuals to express their wishes, make choices and achieve their goals with the aim of increasing independence.
Our Total Communication approach enables staff to implement individualised communication strategies for individuals with severe communication and sensory difficulties.
Individuals are supported to make choices and have control over their lives, and team members use a wide range of communication aids and methods, including intensive interaction, hand-over-hand support, eye movements and facial expressions.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.
