Thoughtfully designed for independent living
Located in Bushey, this is a supported living home for five adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, Asperger’s syndrome and/or behaviours that may challenge. The experienced team provide a person-centred planning approach to support people with life and independence skills development.
Team members help people identify and maintain education placements and/or employment and support people in identifying and attending social and leisure activities and are available 24 hours a day, including for waking nights.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
This is a warm and homely property with five bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. There are also many communal areas for people to socialise in, including a communal lounge, dining room, kitchen and garden.
The home is situated in Watford, where there’s a wide range of local community facilities such as shops, pubs, restaurants, libraries, colleges and employment opportunities.
The home is within easy each of the local bus services and Watford High Street station which provides good links to central London and the surrounding areas.

Lifestyle
People living here are supported to take part in activities that develop social, communication and life skills. People have their own tailored activity timetable, where they can plan their activities towards their likes and dislikes. These range from daily life skills, such as shopping and cooking, through to voluntary work experience and paid employment.
People also take part in a range of activities in their community, such as visiting the pub, day trips in to London to visit museums, rock climbing, fencing, swimming, and bowling.
