More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this support setting
Thoughtfully designed for independent living
The Old Vicarage is a special place where everyone we support is encouraged to grow in confidence and be as independent as possible.
The team help to arrange many fun activities, from arts and crafts to themed quizzes. Weekly movie nights are also popular, with everyone choosing their favourite foods to enjoy.
The large, peaceful garden is perfect for summer BBQs, gatherings, sports, leisure and gardening activities such as growing fruits and vegetables.
The home also has a gym and classroom, helping people build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy fulfilling lives. It also has its own football team, who practise and play together regularly.
Each year, the team and people we support discuss, plan and organise annual holidays, from UK trips to visits abroad.

Facilities
What we offer
A safe and supportive place
The Old Vicarage has a wide range of facilities designed to help people feel comfortable, stay active and build everyday living skills. Bedrooms with en-suite or wet room facilities offer privacy and independence, while the communal lounge gives people a welcoming space to relax, socialise, take part in quizzes, enjoy movie nights or spend time with others. The kitchen supports people to develop confidence with cooking, meal planning and daily routines.
Outside, the large enclosed garden offers space for sports, leisure, summer BBQs, gardening and growing fruit and vegetables. The quiet and sensory room provides a calmer area for people who want time away from busier parts of the home, while the on-site gym supports physical wellbeing and the classroom can be used for learning, life skills and confidence building.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Uxbridge Underground Station is also close by and is served by both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, allowing for easy access in and around London for day trips and outings. The Hillingdon Museum and Archives are located close to the town centre. The people we support enjoy trips to the local cinema, games of bowling and days out playing a round or two of golf.
