Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living
Winterfell is a six-bedroom residential home situated in Rainford, just outside St Helens, Merseyside. It provides specialist residential accommodation and support for adults with learning disabilities, mental health, complex health needs, and additional complex needs. The home comprises six en suite bedrooms with a communal kitchen, two lounges, and a large back garden.
People at Winterfell are supported to develop their skills and to increase their confidence in leading a life of their choosing by accessing a skilled and professional team and an onsite PBS practitioner.
Our team takes the time to fully understand people and, together with family and professionals, develop individual plans that are tailored towards people’s needs and focused on outcomes. This includes seeking out opportunities to take part in activities that enrich people’s lives and build on skills while providing the best care and support possible.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place to call home
Winterfell is a modern, newly refurbished property with a homely feel, situated in a residential area and established in the local community.
Each of the six en-suite bedrooms offers access to two communal lounges and a kitchen dining area.
Additional communal spaces provide the opportunity for people to socialise and create bonds. These include a large back garden, two communal lounges and a dining room.
The location of the home is within walking distance of local shops, cafes, and community services in Rainford. Visitors to Winterfell can park safely outside the property.

Lifestyle
Rainford is a small town with plenty of local shops, cafes, pubs, and community amenities.
The pace of life at Winterfell can be as relaxing or as fast-paced as those being supported wish, as people can choose to get involved with as many activities as they would like.
Examples of activities include gardening, shopping, walks in the surrounding countryside and dining out in local pubs and restaurants.
Those living at the home are also encouraged to seek work or increase their skills through learning opportunities where possible.
