More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this support setting
Thoughtfully designed for independent living
This welcoming and friendly supported living home in Wokingham supports adults with mental health/forensic needs and learning disabilities. Encouraging independence, safety and belonging, we want everyone to feel at home.
Our team provide individualised rehabilitative care programmes and assistance with everyday life. Team members work with the people we support to provide opportunities to grow, build confidence, learn new skills and achieve personal goals.
Support is given to develop people’s daily life skills in areas that can include cooking, shopping and domestic tasks. The people we support are encouraged shape their own support plans incorporating activities to support their life goals and build independent decision making. The home also acknowledges the importance of social inclusion and local community opportunities, and a support plan will enable positive outcomes to be achieved.
This home’s profile number is 431.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
This is a warm and homely detached property with five bedrooms, all with en-suites and spread over two floors. There is a disabled access room including a wet room, a large communal lounge ideal for socialising, spacious gardens, and a dining room and kitchen area. The home is designed to enable people to develop independent living skills whilst being supported by team members.
The home is conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from the town centre. This handy location means people can easily visit local facilities, shops and takeaways. There are also good transport links to Reading and Bracknell.
Support groups and local education/employment opportunities:
- Smart: a drug and alcohol addiction treatment centre in Wokingham, not far from the home, which is a free and confidential programme for local people.
- Graft: a company that the home works closely with to help people gain access to courses on interview techniques and gaining voluntary or paid work.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.
