This warm and welcoming supported living home in South Beddington supports adults with autism spectrum conditions, severe to moderate learning disabilities, behaviours that may challenge, mental health needs, epilepsy and communication impairments.

The home aims to support people to maintain an independent lifestyle, develop social skills and access the community. Person-centred plans and health action plans are put in place and are tailored specifically for each person. A total communication approach is used, including Makaton.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place to call home

Spacious and very homely, this home has four bedrooms, two of which are en-suite. There is also a communal wet room and toilet.

There’s an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, as well as a well-kept large garden, perfect for socialising.

The home is located just a five-minute walk from Purley mainline station and local bus services. There is a wide range of community facilities close by, such as shops, restaurants, pubs and parks that people can access.

Lifestyle

People living here are supported to lead active lives and are supported in taking part in a wide range of activities. These include gardening, swimming, cookery classes, trips to the cinema, music sessions, walking and having barbecues in the summer.

People are also supported in gaining voluntary or paid work, as this greatly increases important life skills, communication skills and independence. The team have been successful in achieving this with some people they support.
