Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living
This supported living home, in Sittingbourne supports adults with learning disabilities, with a focus on developing further independent skills.
The team are able to support people from the age of 17 as part of a transitional model of support. The focus of the team is to promote independence, employment opportunities and person-centred transition plans for independent living.
We’re very proud of some who have moved onto their own flats in the community, and we continue to provide outreach support to them. They have made fantastic progress and achieved some very positive personal outcomes in relation to independence and quality of life.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place to call home
This home has been split into two self-contained areas. On the ground floor, there are three fully furnished bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living area. Upstairs, there are a further six furnished, self-contained rooms with fully fitted kitchenettes. There is a communal lounge, bathroom, toilet, shower and laundry room.
The home is located near to the centre of Sittingbourne and has all the community facilities one would expect to find in a town centre. The home has excellent transport links direct to London, Maidstone, Ashford and coastal resorts.

Lifestyle
People are supported to lead active lives, taking part in a range of social and leisure activities that build on social and communication skills as well as confidence. Leisure activities that people have been involved in include day trips out e.g. visiting the sites in London, swimming, going to the gym, golf, trips to the beach, cinema and going out for meals.
People are also supported to increase their independence through work, education and/or volunteering. Many of the people who live here are in employment or at college.
