Located in Sittingbourne, Kent, this is a 24-hour, supported living home for adults with learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, behaviours that may challenge and/or epilepsy. Our fully qualified support team provide person-centred support and or personal care. The team add a high level of expertise and experience to the home through their many years of experience.

The team regularly explore opportunities with each person that encourage and promote greater independence. Team members support people to grow and build confidence through undertaking daily tasks and getting involved in their wider community, developing social skills further.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place to call home

This is a five-bedroom detached house situated in a residential area near the centre of Sittingbourne. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and a further three bedrooms on the first floor, two of which are en-suite. On the first floor, there is a main bathroom with a separate shower cubicle. All of the bedrooms are of a good size and decorated to a high standard.

The home has communal facilities, including a kitchen, utility room, dining room and lounge. There is also a sunny conservatory overlooking the established and beautiful garden.

The excellent rail and road links with the station and bus stops close by provide easy access to the town centre and other leisure facilities.

Lifestyle

People living here have regular Key worker meetings with the team members they have selected. Regular meetings are hosted by the team for people to share and discuss any ideas, successes and or challenges. This ensures everyone is actively involved in the running of the home and the support they receive.

The skilled team support and encourages people who wish to participate in college courses work/voluntary placement of their choice. People also have access to a wide range of leisure activities such as cycling, trips to the cinema, music classes, day centre visits, swimming, arts and crafts and any other additional activities they want to take part in. Some people go on holiday together, which has proved to be very enjoyable for everyone.
