Thoughtfully designed for independent living

This new home in Crumpsall is a welcoming place where the people we support will be able to enjoy an active, fulfilling lifestyle while building confidence and independence. Everyone will be encouraged to try new experiences; take part in activities they enjoy and work towards personal goals at their own pace. The home’s dedicated skills kitchen will give people the chance to learn everyday cooking skills, plan meals and enjoy preparing food together. There will be a games room for relaxing, having fun, spending time with others and building relationships. From social activities to practical life skills, the home focuses on helping each person grow, gain confidence and enjoy doing more of what matters to them.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place

This newly refurbished home focuses on independence with its self-contained living spaces, including four flats and one studio, giving people their own private space where they can build confidence, take ownership of their daily routines and develop life skills.

The garden and outside space can be used for a range of activities, such as relaxing, socialising, enjoying fresh air, gardening activities or spending time with family and friends. The communal lounge provides a welcoming place for people to come together, watch television, take part in games and activities, chat with others or spend time some quiet time with a book.

There is also a teaching kitchen where people can develop cooking skills, learn about meal planning, prepare snacks and meals, and build confidence in using kitchen equipment safely.

This Supported Living home is in a great location, right next to Cheetham Hill Shopping Centre. This means the people we support can enjoy a spot of shopping, pick up everyday items and get a bite to eat nearby. These everyday outings are a great way to build confidence, practise social skills and make connections with others. The home is also a short distance from Manchester city centre and within one mile of local travel links, including Manchester Victoria train station. This makes it easy to plan fun days out to Blackpool, where people can enjoy the seaside, promenade, Blackpool Tower, SEA LIFE Centre and Pleasure Beach, or to Southport for the beach, parks, Marine Lake, shops and places to eat.
