Lifestyle
People are supported to lead active lives and can take part in a wide range of activities both in the home and in their wider community. Some examples of leisure activities include cooking, swimming, hockey, football, ice hockey and bowling.
People are also supported with developing greater independence through the learning of life skills like meal preparation, budgeting, self-care and grocery shopping.
People enjoy gardening and growing their own crops, such as tomatoes and cucumbers, which they then use in their weekly cooking sessions.
Independence and confidence can be developed through individuals being supported to identify and maintain education, paid work and/or volunteering, which is greatly encouraged at the home.
