This supported living home in Great Leighs is suitable for adults with learning difficulties, including autism spectrum conditions. The support team provide a person-centred planning approach tailored towards individual needs and focused on positive outcomes. People are encouraged to be as independent as possible and engage in their wider community.

People are supported to take part in a variety of leisure activities in order to enrich their lives and increase new and existing skills. We also support individuals to identify and maintain any educational and/or work placements. Team members are available 24 hours a day, including for waking nights.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place to call home

The home is a two-bedroom property with one additional bedroom for a team member to provide overnight support. There are large communal areas, including a lounge, dining room and kitchen, where people gain confidence and skills as they undertake daily tasks. This home also has a large garden, which is great for leisure activities.

The home is in close proximity to local amenities, including shops, restaurants and parks. There are also great transport links into surrounding areas which offers a wide variety of opportunities to explore.

Lifestyle

People are supported to take part in leisure activities in order to enrich their lives and gain new skills. This includes getting out, using local community facilities such as the cinema, shops, day centres, parks and restaurants, as well as any leisure facilities that appeal to each person.

People are also supported in increasing their independence. This can be in regards to learning life skills such as cooking, meal preparation and domestic tasks, as well as exploring educational, volunteering and/or paid work placements.
