Thoughtfully designed for independent living
Mill Hayes supports people with mental health needs to move from long-term hospital care into a supportive residential environment, with a focus on emotional wellbeing and greater independence. Personalised living spaces offer room to relax and spend time alone, alongside opportunities to connect with others.
Each person has their own studio bedroom with a lounge area and ensuite bathroom, which they are supported to personalise with photos and belongings. Communal lounges, kitchens, a conservatory and gardens provide welcoming spaces for shared activities and social events, helping people enjoy everyday life as they settle into their new home.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
At Mill Hayes, people have space to spend time on their own and enjoy the company of others. Each person has a bedroom with additional lounge space where they can relax in private, pursue their interests and welcome visitors. The layout offers flexibility to meet individual needs.
There are seven registered studio bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. Three are on the ground floor and four are on the first floor.
Both floors have their own shared lounge and kitchen, so they can be used independently. The spacious ground-floor lounge and large kitchen allow support to be tailored to people’s emotional and behavioural needs.
The home also has a large conservatory, a spacious garden and a dedicated meeting room on the first floor.

Situated on the edge of the bustling village of Knypersley, just north of Stoke-on-Trent, the area is known for its picturesque countryside, historic architecture, and tranquil atmosphere.
The village itself offers a range of outdoor activities, such as hiking and cycling, with scenic trails that lead through lush greenery and rolling hills. There are local shops, cafés, and pubs for daily needs, while Stoke-on-Trent is a short drive away or can be accessed by bus.
