About this home

Hilltop is a residential home in Weston-Super-Mare for adults with autism spectrum conditions, complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge and learning disabilities. The service has an extremely friendly and family-orientated approach, which creates a very warm and welcoming environment. Individuals are supported to develop person-centred plans that promote increased choice, control over their lives and increased independence skills.

People will be supported to access the community and take part in a wide variety of skill-building activities. Staff are available 24 hours a day, including waking night staff when required.

What we offer

Hilltop is a large, detached property that features six bedrooms with attached bathrooms and one self-contained flat. The property features a sensory lounge room and a large garden.

Hilltop is located in Weston super mare and is within walking distance of the local town, beach, train station and bus stops, as well as being 20 miles from Bristol. Weston-Super-Mare is a beautiful seaside town that features local colleges, shops, restaurants, cinemas and supermarkets.

Lifestyle

At Hilltop, people are supported to take part in a wide variety of activities in order to increase confidence and build on skills. Some examples of activities that people have been involved in include swimming, horse riding, day trips, trips to the cinema, walking, shopping, bowling and baking.

There are also frequent sensory activities, thanks to the in-house sensory room.

Staff will also help people develop their independence skills through learning independent living skills such as meal preparation, budgeting, domestic tasks and self-care.
