Lifestyle
A home of smiles and laughter, people we support here are offered a wide range of activities both within the home and in their local community.
The Quantock Hills are only a short drive, allowing people living here open space to walk in with less noise than the lively home. A general day ensures each person supported is offered the opportunity to enjoy their local community. Families often join us when we hold regular coffee mornings and bake sales with other homes.
There have been multiple holidays and day trips to the coast and surrounding areas which people have enjoyed. People also enjoy participating in activities, including weekly meals out, day centre activities, college placements, shops, trips to the cinema and bowling.
There is an emphasis on building independence and skills at the home, and people are supported in developing their independence which may include cooking, grocery shopping, meal preparation and budgeting.
