More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this support setting
Thoughtfully designed for independent living
A home where individuality is celebrated, goals are encouraged, and every person is empowered to live life their way. Our home philosophy is ‘Independence with heart’ – you can achieve your goals, we’re here to support you, not limit you!
While everyone is supported as an individual, there is a real sense of warmth and connection within the home. Shared activities include mealtimes, movie nights, games and celebrating special occasions such as birthdays and seasonal events.
We celebrate progress, no matter how big or small!

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
Harwich House is a large property in Littlehampton with nine bedrooms. It has a large communal lounge with patio doors that lead into the large garden. Within the garden are raised plant beds, a trampoline and a swing, plus an external sensory cabin, which provides a quiet area away from the house for individuals to relax. The kitchen and laundry room are set up to enable individuals to develop their independence skills with the team’s support and guidance.
Situated in the seaside town of Littlehampton with a welcoming environment that supports
independence, wellbeing and an active lifestyle. Close to the beach and within easy reach of the town for shops, healthcare services, leisure facilities and public transport to nearby towns.
There are lots of opportunities for outdoor activities and nature with Mewsbrook Park, South Downs National Park and Arundel all within easy reach. The nearby seaside towns of Bognor and Worthing provide additional opportunities for leisure activities.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
People here are supported to take part in a wide range of leisure activities within the home and in the wider community in order to build on their skills. People are supported to access Northbrook and Chichester Colleges and Littlehampton Community College, which support people with additional needs. Some individuals have completed college courses, which is a great achievement.
