What we offer
A safe and supportive place to call home
Harwich House is a large property in Littlehampton with nine bedrooms. It has a large communal lounge with patio doors that lead into the large garden. Within the garden are raised plant beds, a trampoline and a swing, plus an external sensory cabin, which provides a quiet area away from the house for individuals to relax. The kitchen and laundry room are set up to enable individuals to develop their independence skills with the team’s support and guidance.
Harwich House is situated five minutes away from Littlehampton seafront and is close to the town centre, which offers shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Harwich also benefits from the facilities and resources of the larger nearby towns of Chichester and Worthing. The train station is also within walking distance.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
People at Harwich are supported to take part in a wide range of leisure activities within the home and in the wider community in order to build on their skills. These can include horticulture and arts and crafts in the local community, horse riding at nearby Ferring, cinema trips, swimming and gardening.
Harwich House also puts on its own events, such as the recent tea party to celebrate Care Home Open Day. The afternoon included a tasty barbecue and lots of fun games that everyone could get involved with.
People at Harwich House are supported to access Northbrook and Chichester Colleges and Littlehampton Community College, which support people with additional needs. Some individuals have completed college courses, which is a great achievement.
