More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this home
Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living
Our highly skilled and empathetic team provides open and inclusive day services in Bath for adults who are deaf, deafblind or have hearing loss. People we support often have other complex needs too, such as a learning disability, mental health issues, an autism spectrum disorder, a physical disability, or dementia.
Our Day Service is all about supporting each person to develop new skills and experience new activities that they may never have had a chance to have a go at before, from ceramics to songwriting and drama. We communicate with each person in their preferred way, and we can also work with hearing people who have communication difficulties. We support people to socialise with those around them, developing their social skills and making new friends.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place to call home
Our dedicated team supports people to develop a personal learning programme based on their abilities, the things they enjoy and the things they want to achieve. Then, we set about supporting them to make these aims a reality.
We offer a wide range of activities to suit everyone. People we support can choose from ceramics, art, music, woodwork, crafts, occupational activities, key skills (such as handwriting, sign language, reading, maths and IT), drama, personal development, life skills and card-making.
Depending on what a person wants to do, we may provide one-to-one or small group sessions. We may go to people in their own homes or use different locations in and around Bath for different activities.

We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
We’re here to help each person to have fun, express themselves, be creative and gain a real sense of achievement as part of a friendly community.
We work with Bath-based artists, galleries and museums to enable people we support to take part in community workshops and exhibitions in Bath and the surrounding areas.
People we support often get involved in selling, as well as making beautiful items and gifts. This provides them with a real sense of achievement and an opportunity to learn even more skills.
