Lifestyle
Eastbourne Road aims to enhance people’s life skills through training and encouragement. The home promotes communication through the use of pictorial aids, audio communication systems and a speech therapist where required.
Support is structured so people have access to a range of activities, including football, cinema visits, exercise classes, music groups and swimming.
Employment and education opportunities are explored locally, with each person supported with one person winning a best achievement award for education.
Several people have participated in the 5k race for life, and some participated in a sponsored dance session, raising £200 for Mencap.
