What we offer

A safe and supportive place

Nestled in a peaceful residential area of Plymouth, Douglas House offers convenient access to the town center and train station. Each of our four en-suite rooms is customisable to meet the people supporteds preferences and sensory needs.

Our communal living room, kitchen, and dining area foster independence, while a cosy patio provides a space for outdoor relaxation and recreation, allowing people supported to enjoy the fresh air and scenery.

Lifestyle

At Douglas House, we foster independence and encourage people supported to pursue their interests, including attending college and engaging in events and activities.

We celebrate seasonal events with parties, baking, and socialising locally.

Several people supported participate in weekly voluntary work placements, and two have successfully gained warden qualifications in Fire Safety and Road Safety. We also organise culture nights to explore new cuisines and encourage trying new experiences.
