Head Office Heroes Award – Community Hub

Celebrated for the way they’ve brought teams closer to our homes, the Community Hub introduced a new Business Partner model across HR, Finance, Quality and Commercial, alongside regular business reviews and easy-to-use dashboards that help leaders make confident and coordinated decisions.

Their work has strengthened our safety culture, including the Incident Review Board, clearer escalation process, health and safety audits, better RIDDOR, near-miss learning, and dedicated fire safety support. Through the Simplify Project, they reduced paperwork and digitised key systems, freeing up time to focus on people, not processes. The team’s efforts have helped earn wider recognition too, with three Unity Stamps of Approval.

Judges Thoughts:

“Achieve together’s Community Hub Team has transformed the way colleagues and services stay connected and supported. Their energy, collaboration and innovative thinking help create consistency across the organisation while ensuring frontline teams have the tools, guidance and encouragement they need to deliver outstanding support every day.”

Talent Seekers Award – People Team

The People Team have delivered a fundamental, values driven approach to attracting, developing and retaining brilliant social care professionals, bringing the voices of the people we support to the heart of recruitment, strengthening hiring quality through enhanced screening, inclusive interviews, and creating a consistent experience with a supportive 90‑day induction period.

Learning has flourished with an app‑based catalogue, face‑to‑face training, high e‑learning completion and increased apprenticeship enrolments. Career pathways have been made clearer through Career Adventures and the Great Manager Academy. Backed by meaningful investment in pay and recognition, the results have been encouraging low turnover, higher employee satisfaction, vacancies filled and recognition as a Financial Times Top 500 Employer (2025 & 2026).
