Lifestyle

At Watermill Lodge, we are fully committed to person-centred planning. Everyone living here plays an active role in shaping their own support and development plans, ensuring support is tailored to their needs and delivered 24/7 with choice and control at its heart.

People have access to a multidisciplinary clinical team, and local community health professionals. When needed, GPs, dentists and opticians can also visit the site to provide essential support.

Weekly day trips are planned to encourage new experiences, with each person returning home to Watermill at the end of the day. Annual holidays are carefully tailored to individual needs – whether that’s a supported week away in the Lake District, Derbyshire or Yorkshire, or a themed week of structured activities onsite for those less able to travel.

We actively encourage family involvement. Family meetings and support for attending events are also part of our commitment to maintaining strong family connections.
