Upper Selsdon Road is an all-male supported living service for adults aged 40-70 specialising in supporting men with mild and moderate learning disabilities and additional mental health needs.
Working closely with local health teams, with whom the service has a positive working relationship, Upper Selsdon Road also provides additional expertise through support from our Clinical Team including the Positive Behaviour Team.
The service has experience in providing positive pathways to individuals seeking to develop their independence following hospital admission, beginning with discharge from hospital, developing skills in the community, and transitioning into supported living.
Upper Selsdon supports individuals to enjoy community activities as well as find work opportunities where possible. Staff also encourage and support people to access adult education and wider developmental activities, alongside in-house ASDAN independent skills development programmes.
Individuals are also supported to develop person-centred plans that not only promote increased choice and independence but also focus on recovery and relapse prevention.Download Brochure
