This home has close connections with four other properties in Wem and nine in Shrewsbury. The people we support regularly meet up for activities including summer BBQs and Christmas Panto visits. The beauty of the flats is that you can choose what activities you like to join or do your own thing. The team promote independence and learning of new skills, people are supported to living their best lives, working toward their goals and ambitions and taking part in activities they enjoy. This is a perfect home for someone who is looking for a more independent future.

Barra House has two bedrooms; one en-suite bedroom located on the first floor and one bedroom located on the ground floor with access to a bathroom. There is a communal kitchen/dining area along with a lounge, which is ideal for socialising.

There is a space upstairs that can be used as a second lounge or a quiet area for relaxing in.

The garden can be accessed from the lounge and from the ground-floor bedroom.

There is Wi-Fi throughout, as well as satellite TV.

Ideal for individuals or a couple.

Situated in the market town of Wem, just 14 miles away from Shrewsbury. The railway station provides a direct route to Shrewsbury and Crewe, and there is also a bus service to Shrewsbury. Wem is a close knit community and everybody looks out for each other. There are always things going on in the town hall – craft days, coffee mornings, and the local rock choir even do a flash mob there. There are bingo nights, choirs, and lots of other groups to join and there is a local gym and swimming pool for fitness activities.
