About this support setting

Thoughtfully designed for independent living

Located in Sudbury, Suffolk, this is a supported living home for adults with a learning disability ready to take the next step towards independent living. Ideal for people in transition from residential college, care or the family home.

The support team encourages people to develop and maintain their social skills and, therefore, develop inclusion within their local community.

Person-centred support is key to increasing independence, promoting choice, independence, and inclusion, and enabling people to develop and maintain skills to give them the freedom to be as independent as possible, to reach their potential and fulfil their dreams. We work with multi-disciplinary teams, actively encouraging families to be involved in supporting people to achieve their goals and aspirations.

This home’s profile number is 522.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place

This is a homely, tastefully decorated four-bedroom house, with one downstairs bedroom with en-suite facilities and three upstairs bedrooms with a shared bathroom. People can also come together and socialise in the shared lounge, kitchen and dining area. Social events and activities also take place in the garden, especially in the summer.

The home sits within the market town of Sudbury, only a short distance from local shops, banks, post office, library, healthcare and leisure facilities. It’s also on a bus route providing a regular service to Bury St Edmunds, Colchester, Haverhill and Ipswich.

The home has a well-trained, experienced and enthusiastic support team; however, any personal care needs are met through a local domiciliary care agency.
