More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this home
Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living
This is a highly specialised 24/7 supported living home located in the heart of one of Staffordshire’s finest market towns supports adults with communications difficulties, mental health needs, behaviours that may challenge and associated complex needs. A short walk from amenities, this home comprises eight self-contained flats set across two blocks of four apartments. The building was refurbished in 2022 and enjoys its own outside space, creating separate gardens and an open communal area.
Each apartment can be fully customised to accommodate an individual’s needs on a completely bespoke basis. This could involve installing sound-proofed walls or creating calming rooms with safety padding with reduced visual and auditory stimuli present.
Here, we support adults who require a high level of support but are ready to take the next step towards independence in their community. This home supports the transforming care agenda, which encourages community-based support for those who have been discharged from secure settings, including long-stay hospitals.
This home’s profile number is 744.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place to call home
These apartments have been adapted to provide Supported Living environments that give independence and security. Here, we offer up to 3:1 support during the day and through the waking night for younger to middle-aged adults who may have been discharged from a long-stay hospital placement or similar environment.
Each apartment is completely self-contained, making it safe for people who may demonstrate challenging behaviours. Fixtures and fittings are robust to withstand pressure, and each apartment offers a pleasant and homely space as a long-term home.

We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
Located in this charming market town, this home is a short walk from the local amenities – including a supermarket, post office, and more. It’s a 10-minute bus drive away from Stoke city centre, as well as being close to Newcastle Under Lyme.
This is a rural area classed as a Moorland district, which means there are plenty of country walks, gardens, and outdoor activities right on the doorstep. Some of the most popular local attractions are Biddulph Grange Gardens and the well-known outdoor monkey park.
Every person we support is encouraged and supported to achieve their goals and participate in activities at home and in the community.
