What we offer
A safe and supportive place
This is a spacious four-bedroom Victorian property set over three floors situated in the Roath area of Cardiff. On the ground floor, there is a comfortable communal living room, a downstairs bedroom, the support team sleeps in the room and a large kitchen with a breakfast area. There is a private enclosed patio garden for people to access, where a lot of leisure activities and events take place, especially in the summer months.
The property is very near the popular district of Albany Road and is close to local shops, pubs, restaurants and other community facilities. The home is within walking distance of local parks, including Roath Park, with its large boating lake.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
This is a calm, quiet and happy home. People living at this home interact very well, and all enjoy each other’s company.
Everybody enjoys group activities, and the household can usually be found in the communal areas such as the lounge, watching TV and board games together. People living here appreciate routine, and most people retire to their rooms at around 9 pm-10 pm. There is a great community presence. Everybody likes to adventure out of the home, too, and some attend day classes, as well as voluntary work placements. Other activities may include visits to the park, local cafes, and shops.
At this home, we support individuals to lead active lives, taking part in a range of activities that help increase social and communication skills. This includes trips to the library, pubs, shops, weekly meals out, arts and crafts, music classes and gym sessions. There are also regular day trips to surrounding areas, and people enjoy walking along the lake and park area.
