Thoughtfully designed for independent living

This supported living home in Littleton, near Chester, supports adults with learning difficulties and/or mental health needs and autism spectrum conditions who benefit from living in their own space with a bespoke care package to suit their needs, plus background support for those more independent.

The support team are experienced in managing complex behaviours and behaviours that may challenge, and are well established, providing consistency and the opportunity to develop strong relationships.

People are supported to take part in meaningful activities that enrich their lives and build on new and existing skills.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place

This is a newly developed property with three en-suite bedrooms, a self-contained first-floor flat, a ground-floor flat and a further ground-floor bedroom.

There are a number of large communal areas, including a lounge and a spacious kitchen. Outside, there are spacious grounds with a seating area and a patio.

The home is located in the village of Littleton, a couple of miles outside Chester City Centre. Providing great access to all surrounding towns, including Chester, Wirral, and Liverpool and good public transport links.

Lifestyle

People are supported to participate in a wide range of activities both in the home and their wider community that build on social and communication skills. Examples of this include cinema trips, arts and crafts, meals out, trips to the pub, swimming, bowling, day trips and any other activities that individuals wish to take part in.

People are supported in the development of life skills with the aim of moving towards more independent living. They are supported with budget planning and finances, meal planning, shopping and household tasks, establishing community links and promoting self-advocacy and support in accessing health services.

Additionally, team members support people in identifying and maintaining volunteering placements, paid work and/or education placements.
