More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this support setting
Thoughtfully designed for independent living
Located in Hove, this is a friendly, supported living home for adults who have learning disabilities, communication challenges and complex needs.
Our home-from-home is supported by a fantastic longstanding team who know people we support extremely well. We’re like one big family. We use person-centred planning to support people to develop their life skills and independence, and we’re passionate about empowering them to identify and achieve their aims. This is, of course, different for each person we support and might mean developing their cooking skills, finding a new voluntary role or moving on to more independent living.
This home’s profile number is 424.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
As a smaller home – we have three bedrooms – there’s a strong family atmosphere here – you’ll find photos on the walls – and things are pretty relaxed. People we support get on very well and enjoy socialising in our communal lounge or garden or cooking together in the kitchen.
The home is close to the seafront in Hove, so there’s plenty to get involved in right here on our doorstep, from college courses to leisure activities or just relaxing on the beach. We’re close to local bus services and Hove station, so it’s easy to get into central Brighton or even into London.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
The dedicated longstanding team are passionate about supporting people to enjoy every day their way. People we support love to go bowling, swimming and to the cinema. They enjoy making the most of the many different restaurants in Brighton, and they often go on holidays (in the UK and abroad) assisted by their support workers.
People we support are involved in the local community: they’ve taken part in the Brighton Festival and enjoy doing voluntary roles. Our local day centre is also a popular destination where people we support enjoy art and music sessions. And here at home, we hold regular yoga and singing sessions as well as sessions focused on developing independent living skills.
