What we offer
A safe and supportive place to call home
This spacious bungalow is home for up to six adults. The environment is fully adapted for wheelchair users, and assistive technology is used throughout the home to maximise the independence of all individuals. All of the bedrooms share fully adapted bathroom facilities, including wet rooms. There’s plenty of space in the communal areas to socialise, which include a living room, a fully equipped and modified kitchen and a laundry room. The kitchen is the real hub of this home.
Located in Grays, just off the M25, the home is a short walk from the town centre, which offers a wide range of local community facilities, including shops, pubs, restaurants, cinemas, libraries and colleges. The nearby mainline stations and local bus services provide good links to London and the surrounding areas.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
Things can get noisy and busy here. The team support people with communications through a variety of methods, for example, PEC books.
People are supported to pursue activities that will increase their independence and communication skills, taking trips to the library, dancing the night away at a local disco, participating in music therapy, using the train and other modes of public transport, bowling and cooking sessions.
People are encouraged to organise and join in with day trips, such as to the coast and surrounding areas, as well as any holidays.
