Thoughtfully designed for independent living
Meesons Lodge is a specialist residential home that has been fully adapted to provide safe and homely support to adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), physical disabilities, communication and sensory impairments and complex health needs. Individuals are supported to develop person-centred plans and health action plans that promote increased choice, control over their lives and independence.
The team are available 24 hours a day, including a waking night team and will assist people to be as independent as possible and to take part in meaningful activities that enrich their lives.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
Meesons Lodge has ten en-suite bedrooms and multiple communal areas for socialisation, including a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a large garden. A lift allows access to all levels, and the environment is adapted for wheelchair accessibility. The home also has two fully adapted minibuses and has access to a local resource centre, which includes a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, life skills room, art centre, music room and activity area.
Meesons Lodge is located in Grays, just off the M25 and is a short distance from the town centre, where there is access to a wide range of local community facilities. The nearby mainline stations and bus services provide good links to London and surrounding areas.

Lifestyle
Individuals at Meesons Lodge are supported to participate in a wide variety of activities that can increase confidence and social skills. This includes trips to the library, theatre visits, bowling, cinema, disco, parks, seaside trips, gardening, therapeutic drives, sensory music, hairdressers and food shopping.
People are also supported in going on any holidays and day trips in order to increase their independence. Meesons Lodge promotes active participation and social inclusion, and therefore, people are encouraged to take part in any activities they want to that will benefit them.
