What we offer

A safe and supportive place to call home

The property has nine single rooms arranged over three floors together with shared communal areas, including a kitchen, lounge, and dining room where people socialise. There is a medium size garden to the rear of the property where social activities and events regularly take place, especially during the summer months.

The property is centrally located in Gillingham, which has a wide range of community facilities, amenities, and good transport links to surrounding areas. The home is on a one-way street, and traffic can be busy, meaning this home would be suitable for some who is not averse to a busy outdoor environment.

Lifestyle

People living here are supported to participate in a wide range of leisure activities aimed to build on skills and facilitate rehabilitation.

Examples of activities that people take part in include meals out, cinema trips, swimming, long walks, days out to chosen places in the community, attending shows, and music therapy.

People enjoy getting together in the lounge to talk and watch TV. They also enjoy regular activities in the garden, such as barbeques.

Life here could be described as quiet, with no physical behaviours. Each person living here has a strong personality, and each person’s uniqueness is celebrated. This home would be suitable for someone who enjoys being independent and will engage well with other strong personalities.
