More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this home
Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living
Supported living home for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, behaviours that may challenge, autism spectrum conditions and mental health needs.
We will follow an active, person-centred approach which enables people to proactively manage their mental health needs, make informed choices and achieve their planned outcomes.
People will be supported to develop individualised Health Action Plans, which include access to a range of healthcare professionals.
We will work closely with community teams to ensure that people supported continue to access key services and appointments. This close working relationship enables us to focus on increased independence and recovery for people who have mental health needs.
The home helps to build resilience in people through the promotion of positive risk-taking and through equipping people with practical, transferable skills. The home aims to reduce dependence on the support team and provide the necessary skills for the individuals supported to thrive independently both inside and outside of the home so that they might then be able to move on to greater independence in the future.
This home’s profile number is 460.

Lifestyle
This home is passionate about ensuring people living at this home live healthy lifestyles and feels this is key to maintaining good mental health. The home set up a run and bike club, and most people living here attend and enjoy it. People living here enjoy nature walks within the local area and absorb the beautiful scenery. People supported here also benefit from having a dedicated arts & crafts and fitness room for days when people feel like staying at home. Everybody living here enjoys the regular pamper evenings held, which are incredibly popular.
This is a happy home, with laughter to always be heard. Like any home, there are moments of calm and quietness, as well as liveliness and busyness. People here are sociable and enjoy activities together in the communal areas.
We support individuals to plan and organise their own activity timetables and take part in activities that develop social, communication and life skills. These range from support in daily life skills such as shopping through to college placements, voluntary and paid work placements and leisure activities.
People are encouraged to express their rights freely and become contributing members of the community. In our experience, this helps to increase social and emotional well-being and decreases the stigma that can affect people with learning disabilities.
