About this home

Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living

Located in Coulsdon, this is a supported living home supporting adults with moderate learning disabilities, complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge, restricted mobility, sight impairment, epilepsy and autism spectrum conditions.

This is an ideal home for people needing 24-hour support and transitioning from college, residential services or from home for the first time. As a specialist support home, there is a focus on embedding a visual and total communication culture alongside person-centred active support, with the team receiving training and support from our clinical team to help achieve this.

The team see every aspect of a person’s daily life as a potential learning opportunity, working collaboratively with each person using preferred communication approaches in areas that might include personal care, cooking, shopping, domestic tasks and in planning individual recreational and developmental activities.

This home’s profile number is 613.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place to call home

The home has seven bedrooms, two on the ground floor with en-suite wet rooms and five bedrooms on the first floor, of which two have en-suite facilities. Communal areas include an open-plan kitchen/diner, lounge, laundry room and a lovely two-tier garden.

The home benefits from having easy access to both rural and urban locations, with Croydon, Coulsdon and Redhill close by and the Surrey Downs being within walking distance. This means adult special education centres, colleges, shops, and leisure facilities are all within easy reach of the home.
