About this home

Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living

At this supported living home in Brighton, our established team supports adults who have learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.

People we support are very independent and enjoy doing a range of activities in and around Brighton, including voluntary and paid work. Some people we support are also working towards taking on new employment opportunities.

Ours is a large townhouse where our friendly team supports people to make choices for themselves. Some people enjoy being sociable, while others like their own company. We’re here to enable them to spend their day in the way they want.

This home’s profile number is 560.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place to call home

This home is a large semi-detached townhouse overlooking a small park close to the centre of Brighton. The home has eight bedrooms in total, two of which have en-suite bathrooms.

There are communal areas across the home’s four floors, including lounges and kitchens, where people like to get together to cook meals, watch films or listen to music. There’s a back garden with a vegetable patch and a barbecue area, which is popular in the warmer months.

The small park is a lovely green space that people we support enjoy visiting for a walk. We’re close to bus and rail services, making it easy to get into Brighton as well as local towns, and even into London. Shops, cafés and pubs are all within easy reach too.

Lifestyle

People we support are very active and independent. Our team supports people to develop life skills, including budget planning and financing, shopping and cooking so they can do as much for themselves as possible.

We support people to identify the leisure or work activities they’d like to do to help them build their skills, independence and confidence. The voluntary or paid employment opportunities people have chosen have included working in a bakery, a café and volunteering with a charity.

Brighton has so much to offer, and people we support make the most of this vibrant city. They enjoy swimming, bowling, cinema trips, doing activities at local day centres, and we go on regular trips around the local area.
