What we offer
A safe and supportive place to call home
Oak Lodge is a six-bedroom purpose-built bungalow with a shared bathroom and shower rooms adapted to meet physical needs. People can decorate their bedrooms to their liking.
There are communal areas for socialising, including a communal kitchen/diner and a spacious lounge. There is also a fenced garden with wheelchair accessibility, which people really enjoy making use of. The home also has its own transport, which is ideal for day trips.

We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
At Oak Lodge, people can take part in a wide range of activities and are encouraged to engage with the local community. They enjoy gardening, day centre activities, social outings, meals out, cinema and theatre trips and holidays.
On one occasion, we supported people to go on a cruise on Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth, where they were treated like royalty!
The home also hosts events, such as the ‘Big Picnic Fortnight’ where money is raised for YoungMinds.
The home adopted a dog called Teddy from Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, and he has settled in well and is receiving a lot of attention.
