Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living
London Road is a large, detached residential home for adults with autism spectrum conditions, moderate to severe learning disabilities and/or complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge. There is an ethos of promoting independence, supporting individuals to do as much as they are able to, as well as a focus on maximising ability around all daily living tasks such as cleaning, laundry, personal care, travel training, money skills and cooking.
Individuals are assisted in positive risk-taking so that they actively increase their confidence and move towards their goals in achievable milestones. Team members are available 24 hours a day, including waking night support.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place to call home
London Road is an attractive and spacious detached Victorian house located in a residential area in Twickenham, Middlesex. The two-level home can accommodate up to six people and has a shared communal lounge, dining room and kitchen. The property has a large rear garden used for social gatherings.
London Road is ideally situated for individuals to access community facilities, including shops, restaurants, leisure facilities, colleges and transport links. It is close to Twickenham Station, Twickenham Stadium, local supermarkets and a retail park.

We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
People at London Road are supported to take part in activities that increase their independence. They are actively involved in the day-to-day running of the home. Everyone is supported to participate in a wide variety of sports, including swimming and companion cycling.
Staff will help people to identify and maintain volunteering placements and/or paid work in order to integrate into the wider community. One individual has benefited from this and is currently volunteering at a charity shop, which is a great step towards independence.
