What we offer
A safe and supportive place to call home
Heathdene is a six-bedroom detached dormer bungalow in Govilon. There are four ground-floor bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, two of which have hoist facilities. There are another two large bedrooms on the first floor with a shared bathroom with sperate shower and bath accessed by the stairs with a fitted stairlift.
There is a luscious and spacious rear garden, which is utilised for social activities and events throughout the year. There are great transport links in to surrounding areas and multiple community facilities people can access, including shops, restaurants, pubs, parks and multiple museums.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
At Heathdene, individuals are supported to lead active lives both at the service and in the community. This can assist the development of social and communication skills as well as increase confidence. Some examples of activities include day centre activities, ‘Green Fingers’ gardening club, hydrotherapy, cinema trips and swimming, to name a few.
Residents are also supported to attend the local college and take part in a variety of courses. Additionally, people will be supported to go on any day trips and holidays they would like. This year, three residents even went to Portugal for their annual holiday and had a fabulous time in the sun with team members!
