About this home

Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living

Our Glyn Domiciliary Service in Hampshire supports young and elderly adults with autism spectrum conditions, moderate learning disabilities, severe learning disabilities, mental health needs, restricted mobility, sight impairment, hearing impairments and epilepsy. Specialist support is provided throughout for people who may also be D/deaf in the Hampshire area, in the person’s family home, in our supported living homes and in the community. People are supported to live as independently as possible and can choose the level of support they require from 1 to 24 hours a day.

The team have a strong focus on person-centred support, with the team getting to know people well, supporting them effectively to make decisions, exercise choice, have control and lead fulfilling lives.

People are supported in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests in a happy, homely atmosphere.

The team working in this specialist D/deaf service use British Sign Language (BSL), for most of them, it is their first language. British Sign Language (BSL) is a sign language used in the United Kingdom and is the first or preferred language among the Deaf
community in the UK.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place to call home

The Glyn Domiciliary Service supports people with a range of aspects and in varying degrees dependent on individual needs. People can choose the degree to which they are supported and will be assisted in any area of their lives that they require, which can include appointments,  medication, social and leisure activities, self-care, budgeting, daily living skills, holidays and employment, to name a few.

We are experienced with supporting people with personal budgets and direct payments and can provide all relevant support.
