More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this support setting
Thoughtfully designed for independent living
Gibraltar Crescent is a specialist residential home, without nursing, in Epsom, Surrey. We provide 24-hour support for up to six d/Deaf and/or deafblind adults. People we support have a range of diverse and sometimes complex needs, including learning and physical disabilities, mental ill-health and dementia.
Our team is dedicated to supporting people we support to develop the knowledge and skills they need to live as independently as possible – improving their health and wellbeing and exploring social and leisure interests.
Our person-centred approach means people we support are fully involved in decision-making about their support. We also use tailored communication techniques and encourage positive risk-taking to ensure they live the life they want.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
Gibraltar Crescent is a safe, comfortable home with six bedrooms (one with ensuite facilities), two bathrooms, plus a modern, open-plan kitchen/diner. There’s a lounge with a TV and DVD player and a bright conservatory, which is a lovely place to relax.
The large garden has a paved area, lawn and seating and is a perfect place for enjoying some fresh air and even helping with some gardening. The house is fully wheelchair accessible.
Gibraltar Crescent is on the outskirts of Epsom and just a short walk from shops, cafés, pubs, churches and the library. Excellent public transport links make it easy to get into Epsom and beyond, and the beautiful Epsom Downs are just a 10-minute drive away.
The home also has a car so that people we support can enjoy getting out and about and easily travel to appointments.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
The team at Gibraltar Crescent provides one-to-one support. All our team members are trained and experienced to meet the needs of people we support.
The home is a calm and sociable environment where all people living here have formed great relationships. People living here have done so for many years, making this home very stable.
People communicate in a variety of ways, including Makaton and signing, making this home inclusive for everyone.
We empower people we support to do as much for themselves as they can, supporting them to create a person-centred plan that describes what’s important to them, how they want to live their life, and the support they need to make this happen.
Whether it’s empowering people to make healthy lifestyle choices, manage their medicines, cook for themselves, learn new skills or get involved in the local community, it’s all possible at Gibraltar Crescent.
Our team also encourages people we support to play an active part in the running of the home, planning menus, shopping, cooking, cleaning and gardening, and making suggestions of ways we can improve things.
