About this home

Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living

Durlston House is a residential home that provides support for adults with learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions and behaviours that may challenge. The service aims to create a person-centred planning approach and help individuals live as independently as possible in a warm and welcoming environment.

Individuals are supported in making plans so they have control over their lives and increased independence skills whilst focusing on a PBS approach to reduce everyday anxieties. Staff will support people to take part in a range of activities that can enrich their everyday lives and involve them within the wider community. Staff are available 24 hours a day, including waking night staff when required.
