About this home

Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living

Domiciliary Care Shrewsbury is an outreach service that provides care for people with autism spectrum conditions, learning difficulties, and mental health needs both in their own homes and in 24-hour supported living services. We work with a number of local authorities directly, as well as supporting people with an individualised budget or direct payment. We are able to support people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, acquired brain injury and/or physical disabilities.

We promote independence and provide support with medication, finances, and access to community and daily living skills such as cooking, domestic tasks and personal care.

Lifestyle

Throughout the homes under Domiciliary Care Shewsbury, people are supported to take part in meaningful activities that aim to increase social and communication skills as well as enriching lives everyday. These can include activities at home and or in the wider community. Examples of leisure activities include cinema trips, shopping, meals out, laser quest, rock climbing, music clubs and sports clubs, to name a few.

People are supported to be as independent as possible through improving daily living skills such as budgeting, cooking and meal preparation. People are supported to identify and maintain any education, voluntary work and paid work experience placements in order to learn new skills and transition to more independent living.
