More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this support setting
Thoughtfully designed for independent living
Domiciliary Care Cheshire provides support to people with shared house tenancy models and individual tenancies in the North West. The majority of the tenancies are within 24-hour supported living homes. However, we also provide outreach support for people living in their own homes.
We work with a number of Local Authorities, including Cheshire West, Chester and Wirral, directly in addition to supporting people managing their Individualised Budgets or Direct Payments.
We support people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, acquired brain injury and/or physical disabilities. We promote independence and provide support with medication, finances, being a part of a community and daily living skills such as cooking, domestic tasks and personal care.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
Domiciliary Care Cheshire provides support in people’s own homes and through multiple homes available across the North West, which have a variety of facilities and range in sizes.
Due to the complex needs of people we support, our teams are specifically recruited and trained to provide tailored support to each person. This means we form our team around people’s needs and encourage each person, their family and any wider circles of support to take part in recruitment. We provide continuity and consistency of support through experienced support team members with designated key workers.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
In all our homes and services across Domiciliary Care Cheshire, people are encouraged to explore and participate in activities that enable the development of social and communication skills, enriching lives. These can range from leisure activities both in the home itself and the local community to learning important life skills that increase independent living.
People are encouraged to be participating members of their wider community and are supported to enjoy local amenities. Additionally, people are supported with identifying and maintaining any voluntary work, education and/or paid work, which is a great step towards independence.
