More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this support setting
Thoughtfully designed for independent living
Domiciliary Care Agency Kent and Sussex supports autistic adults, people with mental health needs, people who have a physical disability and or moderate to severe learning disabilities and behaviours that may challenge within their own homes, supported living accommodation and the community so they can live as independently as possible.
Support can also be provided into a range of Achieve together supported living homes locally, across Kent, Brighton & Hove, Medway and West Sussex. There are a wide range of different homes available, varying in size depending on each person’s needs.
People are supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with each person having an assigned a key worker whom they become very familiar with. People’s care, treatment and support plans reflect their range of needs and support the promotion of their wellbeing and enjoyment of life. Families are also encouraged to play a key role in the support provided to the degree the person supported wishes them to be.
We are able to offer direct support by supporting individuals to:
- Source appropriate accommodation
- Maximising benefits to secure accommodation
- Liaise with registered social/private landlords
- Complete tenancy sign-up

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
Domiciliary Care Agency Kent and Sussex support people within their own homes, shared accommodation and individual premises to live as independent a life as possible and encourage their development in a variety of different ways.
Support can also be provided into a range of Achieve together supported living homes locally, across Kent, Brighton & Hove and Medway and West Sussex. There are a wide range of different homes available, varying in size depending on each person’s needs.
People are encouraged to choose how they furnish and decorate their own homes, and are assisted in planning both their daily life and future long-term aspirations.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
People can take part in a variety of activities such as trips to the cinema, day centre activities, watching the local choir, seaside trips and swimming to name a few.
There is a strong focus on supporting integration with others and maintaining appropriate relationships. People are encouraged to develop independent living skills in order to ‘move on’ to greater independence, and many people have been supported to move on from residential homes into supported living homes. People can then progress to living in their own home receiving outreach support, which is a great achievement and a step towards independence.
