More about our approach to quality and safeguardingAbout this support setting
Thoughtfully designed for independent living
Cleveland House is a residential home supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions and behaviours that may challenge.
Having had a full refurbishment in 2021, the property has many newly decorated areas, including the bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, hallway, bathrooms and communal areas.
Individuals are supported to develop person-centred plans that promote increased choice, control over their lives and independence whilst focusing on recovery and relapse prevention. Our dedicated clinical team works in partnership with individuals to identify the support they require with regard to physical, emotional, cultural, cognitive and communication needs.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
Cleveland House is a warm, homely property comprised of 10 en-suite bedrooms and one semi-independent flat. Individuals can enjoy socialising with others in the communal spaces, which include the living room, dining room, a quieter lounge and kitchen.
People can also enjoy relaxing in the private garden, which is often used for a variety of leisure activities and entertainment in the summer.
Cleveland House is located in South Woodford, where there are many community facilities close by, such as shops, pubs and restaurants. The underground station and local bus stop are within easy walking distance and provide excellent links to Central London.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
At Cleveland House, individuals are supported to take part in leisure activities in order to increase communication and social skills as well as build new friendships. People have access to a wide range of local community facilities, including arts and craft classes, many shops, pubs, restaurants, libraries and colleges and residents are supported in the uses of these amenities.
Aromatherapy, music and Arts mojo sessions are regularly run onsite, and people enjoy getting involved. There are also trips out to local day centres, London attractions and local parks for picnics. People are supported to take part in education and employment opportunities, and one individual has recently taken on a volunteer placement at a local farm, which has given them many new skills and confidence.
