Churchill House Commended for High Quality Care

Our supported living service, Churchill House, in Burnham-on-Sea, has been praised by an independent audit for delivering compassionate, person-centred care.  

The independent care consultancy carrying out the audit also cited that the service promotes dignity, inclusion and independence for the people we support and rated it ‘Good’ across all five key inspection areas: safe, responsive, effective, well-led and caring.  

In its report, the consultancy highlighted that the service “benefits from capable leadership and a dedicated team committed to safety, collaboration and continuous improvement.” 

It went on to state that Churchill House continues to demonstrate strong values, effective teamwork, and a clear focus on delivering safe, high-quality and compassionate care for all.” 

Zak Houlahan, Chief Executive Officer, commended the team, saying: 

“I would like to congratulate the team at Churchill House on this fantastic outcome. This is a real testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment shown by everyone. The improvements and progress highlighted in the report are impressive and clearly demonstrate the positive impact of your efforts. You should all feel incredibly proud of what you have achieved – it’s a great step forward and truly showcases the quality of care you deliver.”
