Achieve together win Employer Award at the NLD&A Awards 2021

We’re thrilled to have won The Employer Award at the National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards.

The prestigious Awards took place on Friday 29 October in Birmingham, and a number of our Exec team, team members and people we support attended the glittering event.

Philippa Hoey, a person we support from Hersham Gardens, was very excited to go up on stage and collect the Employer Award.

We were recognised for our dedicated 6000 strong team who enable us to put the people we support at the heart of everything we do. Our recognition of, and engagement with, every single team member enables Achieve together to support people to live happy, healthy and meaningful lives.

We nurture talents and take a leading role in “inspiring a generation” to join, and achieve, long and fulfilling careers within our sector. We are committed to attracting “values-driven talent”, and train skill. We look to establish clear, consistent career pathways which provide unlimited opportunities for team members, whist always encouraging one of our core values of “having fun”.

Chief People Officer at Achieve together, Sue Lee said:

“We are delighted to have received this award. We are proud of our teams and the amazing work that they do. We would like to congratulate all the winners this year and extend our thanks to The National Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards for hosting this fabulous event”.
